Seamus MacFeck "From the wilded realms in between, Vile Ent returns with a second EP of institutionalized industrial, mind melted metal, swingin’ hard rock and digitally molested soundscapes that follow-up 2017’s freaky, fun and fucked up Road Rash EP with a sonic glitch-out of equally mangled organic and computerized split personalities." - Jay Snyder, TeethOfTheDivine.com Favorite track: Honey! I'm Home.

evildeadjay82 Equally as good as Road Rash, if not better. More sizzle on the guitars for the big, tumblin' doom-y rocker "Honey, I'm Home," the blistering electronics in hyper-speed full-display on "Brogrammer" and personal favorite "Web Witch" with its scathing lyrical attack on internet uglies. It's more of everything awesome from Road Rash with plenty of full-lunged vocal heat turning the intensity of the songs way up. Favorite track: Web Witch.

Honey! I’m Home I had a great day at work today and that’s not all We got 10 grand in the bank and the mortgage paid off Just got a raise, you wait till Xmas this year I’m home now honey, c’mon, get me a beer Honey! I’m Home When I walk into the office every face lights up They know I’m going to kick some ass, my skills are serious When I nailed the Brightman contract ya shoulda seen my boss’s face Like he died and went to heaven and he just reached outer space Honey! I’m Home Pretty soon I will rule this town Ya got a real good catch in me I’m the tightest act around And this whole town will resound to the sound of Honey! I’m Home When I stroll through my neighbourhood I wave to everyone Everybody knows me just like the King of Kensington I help little old ladies to get across the street I’m the friendliest guy you could ever hope to meet And I said Honey! I’m Home

about

“Morning Wood” is just a quick slap in the face, immediate and without hesitation. Perhaps abruptly the listener is taken across 8 years
of...Vile Ent tunes of Electro-Rawk grandeur and wooden dissertations. Separated by two interludes as if in a cheap drive-in movie in 1966, a subwindow into the Vile Ent big picture window is projected onto the musical screen. The popcorn break shoulders 3 main tracks of Vileness, “Honey! I’m Home”, “Bipolar Avenues”, and “Web Witch”.

On "Honey! I'm Home", Vile brought in a great old friend from bands past, Big John Bates on rhythm guitar, providing the right groove of Rawk sleazery bouncing off of Vile’s skyscraping programming and narcissistic lead vocals. The driving musical inspiration comes largely from Vile Ent’s partner in crime, MrBUMP. With just about every skill in the musical book, this man slays guitar, bass, keyboards, programs, and DJs. His contributions to the Morning Wood EP include the tracks “Bipolar Avenues” (a psycho-harsh Industrial raveup featuring the BUMP programming skills), and “Web Witch” (MrBUMP on guitar and absolutely everything). He is also on fire on lead guitar in “Honey! I’m Home”. He is also on bass and backing vocals in the silly little segueway “Brogrammer”.
